Dearne Carrfield Primary School Installation

Dearne Carrfield Primary School approached Logic Energy Ltd. asking for educational live energy display that could be accessed online on multiple classrooms at the same time of being used as a entrance display on the school. Dearne Carrfield Primary school were looking at different option for renewable energy but wanted to assest first their energy ussage and “green energy” potential.

Besides of being an live educational remote energy display, the school needed to have accurate energy readings from the school. A LeNET kit (remote monitoring kit) was the perfect option to remotely monintor the kWh meter.

Logic Energy was approached by the client, and the requirement was a child-friendly live energy display that could be viewed in their reception area to allow vistors to appreciate just how sustainable the school is, but more importantly the client was looking for a display that could be used as an educational tool too.

The installation was carried out by SCL Electrical and Energy Ltd.

A fully customised online web-based and on site energy display system was the most practical solution, now any child in the school can access this live energy display via the Internet at the same time that watching the weather conditions at the school live.

The system managing this display is LeSense which allows the school to perform long term energy performance check-ups at the same time as providing real payback values. Additional to LeSense and LeNET a weather station with an anemometer, wind direction, pyranometer for solar radiation, temperature and rain collection sensors were installed.
