Currie Community High School wanted to demonstrate their strong commitment to the care of the environment and give the opportunity to pupils to learn about sustainable energy. In an effort to reduce their carbon footprint and demonstrate renewable energy generation, the school have installed an 11kw turbine and 30kw solar panels.
Logic Energy was approached by the customer to provide a Live monitoring system to connect to their renewable energy installations, that could deliver live information on the school Energy display at the main entrance and at the same time facilitate this information onto the classrooms so students could learn to use it as teaching material.

Logic Energy public displays were the perfect solution for this project. Currie Commninity High School has been the first Scottish school to be awarded the Ashden Award for Sustainable Energy.
