Account Executive

Job summary

Due to rapid growth we require an experienced Account Executive to join our team.

Job Description

Based in a busy office, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities for the company worldwide as well as developing and managing relationships with existing customers.

Reporting to our Business Development Manager the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in renewables and a sincere desire to make a difference.

Candidate will fulfil the following duties:

• Generate business across a broad spectrum of organisations including Not for Profit, Schools, Further Education, Construction, Renewable energy system manufacturers, Installers, Consultants, Analysts, Telecomms and many more
• Business Development calls to new customers
• Handling any enquiries by phone and email
• Conduct face to face meeting with potential customers
• Represent the company at exhibitions and customer focussed events
• Visit new and existing customers when required
• Travel to various countries to participate in exhibitions/trade shows etc
• Liase with technical team and administration regarding orders and technical queries
• Ensure CRM and internal systems are up to date

Skills / Experience

Suitable candidates will have:

• Several years experience in developing new business 
• Strong organisation and customer focus skills
• An ability to approach situations/challenges in an innovative manner
• Contribute to commercial decisions within the business
• A ‘Can do, Hands on’ approach
• Experience in Office software packages and other software tools required to make proposals and customer presentations
• Ideally, a background in the renewable energy sector or a technical environment
• A valid clean driving license

The successful candidate will receive in house product and skills training. Candidates must also be prepared to travel and stay away from home occasionally.
